LEADING THE WAY IN ECO-EDUCATION
ECCOPartners is the community outreach division of the Sebastian County Regional Solid Waste Management District. They are unique in the fact that they have branded their outreach to the community in an effort to increase recycling and environmental education in their district.
C3 Brandworks has partnered with ECCOPartners in this effort to put a friendly, approachable face on a government entity. Envrionmental education in the school system, increased corporate eWaste recycling, and organic matter recycling (composting) have all been the initial focus.
ECCOPartners also lead the way in creating the first-ever EarthFest for our region in April, 2008. EarthFest 2008 was a hands-on experience at the Janet Huckabee Center that included nature walks and wetland tours. EarthFest 2009 promises to be even bigger and showcase even more educational opportunities through partnerships with organizations like Leave No Trace.
We look forward to the future in an area that's growing green.
